RetroAfric Music Publishing publishes a large selection of the works of ET Mensah, Alick Nkhata, Fundi Konde and some compositions by Franco, Mose Fan Fan, Shikamoo Jazz and others. It also sub-publishes selected works by: Zaiko Langa Langa, Ry-Co Jazz, King Bruce, Thu Zahina, Bi Kidude, CK Mann, etc.

RetroAfric policy is that every release should ideally be negotiated in person with the artistes themselves, their immediate descendants or the moral owners of the material. We do not sub-license works from 'inherited' catalogues.

As publishers the company has granted licenses to reproduce works in various media by many of these artistes, including:

  • ET Mensah TV commercials for Courvoisier brandy, Oasis soft drink, Movie soundtrack for Hanif Kareshi's My Son The Fanatic. Four compilations for various labels plus Microsoft/Encarta CD-Rom.
